The NBCPC currently requires National Certified Pastoral Counselors (NCPC) to obtain 24 to 60 (depending upon certification level) Continuing Education Units every two years from an NBCPC approved education provider. NBCPC approved provider status assures National Certified Pastoral Counselors that the activities offered by the provider have undergone a rigorous review and have been found to meet NBCPC continuing education requirements. NBCPC encourages NCPC’s to take full advantage of the activities made available by these approved education providers.
NBCPC offers services to its approved providers that include listing in the “Approved Provider List” and to list activities on the “Continuing Education Calendar”, both of which appear on our website’s Members Only section. Additionally, approved providers may have free, reciprocal web links, and may purchase advertising space on our website.
